New Construction Irrigation

New construction is the best time to install irrigation, because the ground is open and nothing has to be dug around. It is also the easiest time to get it wrong, since the timing has to fit between grading, concrete and sod.

We install irrigation for builders and new homeowners across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We place sleeves under driveways and walks before the concrete, trench and install pipe after final grade, set the valves and controller and have the system running before sod or seed goes down.

What you get

Done right, from the first walk-through

01

03

Ready for sod

04

Builder coordination

We work with the schedule, the grader and the landscaper.

  3. 3

    Test and hand off

Every zone is run and checked, and the controller is set for new sod.

FAQ

Common questions about new construction irrigation

When should irrigation be installed in a new home?

Sleeves go in before driveways and walks are poured. The main system goes in after final grading and before sod or seed.

Can you work with my builder?

Yes. We coordinate schedules and can provide the information a builder needs.

Will new sod need special watering?

Yes. New sod needs frequent, light watering for the first weeks. We program the controller for that and adjust it as the roots establish.
